Foodbank will be opening an extra day a week throughout December in a bid to make sure no-one goes hungry over the festive season.
Our warehouse will be open every Tuesday from next month as we accelerate our preparations for what promises to be our busiest ever Christmas.
Whether you’re a hungry family that has been referred to us for emergency food or one of our many amazing supporters looking to drop off donations – we’ll be giving you more time to visit us as the countdown to Christmas gets underway.
We’ll be accepting donations right up to 23rd December but would ideally like any festive items of food by 11th December to ensure we have enough time to pack them in our clients’ food parcels.
December – standard opening hours
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11am to 2pm.
Christmas and New Year
Monday 21st December 11am – 2pm
Tuesday 22nd December 11am – 2pm
Wednesday 23rd December 11am – 2pm
Thursday 24th December 10am – 12.30pm (warehouse closed for donations)
Christmas Day – Closed
Monday 28th December – Closed Bank Holiday
Tuesday 29th December 10am – 12.30pm
Wednesday 30th December 11am – 2pm
Thursday 31st December 10am – 12.30pm
Friday 1st January – Closed Bank Holiday
Re-open as usual on Monday 4th January
