Worcester Foodbank is in urgent need of volunteers between now and January to help bolster our team during the busy autumn and winter period.
We need volunteers aged 18 or over and available to do regular shifts between 9.30am and 2.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays, although we can offer flexibility within these hours if needed and understand that people may not be able to help every week.
The role will include activities such as packing parcels, sorting and unpacking goods, making up Christmas hampers, purchasing food stock and serving clients.
Volunteers need to be able to deal with the physically demanding and fast paced nature of the role, which includes lots of lifting. Full training will be provided and we encourage volunteers to take breaks throughout their shifts.
