About us

We believe that no one in our community should face hunger.

One hand resting on another persons in comfort

That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people in Worcester.

We are part of a nationwide community of food banks, supported by Trussell, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Worcester Foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area. It is overseen by All Saints Church, working in partnership with other churches across Worcester.

Three areas of Worcester are in the top 10% most deprived areas in the country, with 17% of children estimated to live in poverty.

Worcester Foodbank opened in June 2012 to provide people in crisis with emergency 3-day food parcels. We also offer a listening ear and signposting to further support. We rely on volunteers to run our food bank, with around 150 local people generously donating their time.

Our aim is to restore people’s hope of a happier and more sustainable future where they can stand on their own two feet again.
