Where to get support

Domestic abuse & support for women

  • DAWN Project is a confidential, and non-judgmental service supporting women who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse. You can access support via WCT.
  • West Mercia Women’s Aid (WMWA) is a specialist domestic abuse support organisation operating across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, and Telford & Wrekin. To get in touch, please call 0800 980 3331.
  • Refuge UK provides specialist support for women and children experiencing domestic abuse and gender-based violence. You can call them on 0808 2000 247.
  • The Joy project provides activities for women in the local community hubs. You can access support via WCT.

Ex-Military support

  • SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity provides lifelong support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families across the British Armed Forces community. Get in touch by phone on 0800 260676.
